Located in Grants Pass, Oregon, Casa Amiga has quickly become a beloved destination for Mexican cuisine enthusiasts. This vibrant restaurant is noted for its warm atmosphere and friendly staff, creating a welcoming environment for diners. Reviewers have raved about the carnitas tacos, claiming they are the best they've ever had, while the tortilla soup has also received high praise for its delicious flavors. Customers appreciate the attentive service, exemplified by owner José, who goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience.
Though some patrons have mentioned a quirky ambiance reminiscent of a party supply store, the food speaks for itself. The vegetarian options, such as the No Meat burrito, are generously portioned and bursting with flavor—fresh cilantro, savory guacamole, and homemade tortilla make it a standout dish. The balance of spices in the house sauces adds a delightful kick that keeps diners coming back for more.
While there are minor critiques about certain dishes, the overall consensus is that Casa Amiga excels in quality and hospitality. With its rich menu and commitment to customer satisfaction, it’s no wonder that both locals and travelers alike are making it a regular stop. Expect to enjoy a flavorful journey that brings the heart of Mexico to Oregon!

Great food, except the tamales were pretty bad. Nice staff. My only complaint is the ambience is like eating inside of a party supply store. Too bright and too many pinatas!

Best carnitas tacos EVER. I get tacos multiple times a week at different places bc I travel a lot and these are the ones I think about the most. You can't tip when paying with a CC so try to bring cash for that.

We were welcomed in by Jose. He even gave us a ride from the fairground. The tortilla soup was amazing, along with the pork tamale. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. A nice touch was the sweet desert. If I lived locally I would go here all the time!

I wanted to buy a gift card so I asked the person where he takes the family to eat. He said Casa Amiga, for the food and service. I had not been there. The woman at the counter, who seemed like an owner, was very helpful and knowledgeable. I’m a vegetarian and asked for a recommendation. She suggested the No Meat burrito and asked if I wanted the cheese and sour cream, attentive to my preferences. We had a pleasant conversation about lard vs oils. She is informed. I took the burrito to go. It’s big enough for two meals. It was delicious, fresh cilantro was the first thing I noticed, generous guacamole, whole beans and tasty rice. All three side sauces were amazing, nice heat on the tongue and fresh herbs. The tortilla seemed homemade, it had that slightly chewy texture, I loved it. The chips were fresh and seemed homemade also. I will definitely be back for sit down service and to bring my nieces. The pinatas are quite a site. I visited with another woman while waiting, she said she’s a regular for take out and recommends coming early as the parking lot fills.

Casa Amiga catered our wedding and they are awesome (at a fair price too)! They provided a thorough taste testing with all their taco options months beforehand. They arrived on time, were smooth and fluid with serving our 80 wedding, and everything was DELICIOUS! Bonus is that we were able to take all the leftovers home too! Highly recommend this family-owned business for not just catering but also to simply eat at!

Casa Amiga is amazing! They have excellent food and are always super friendly. They are very easy to work with for call-in orders to-go, and the food is always the highest quality. For dining in the staff is great about checking in on your table. I have been on the receiving end of their catering for a friend's wedding, and they were outstanding. When you dine with Casa Amiga, it's almost as if you're dining with their familia directly. 10/10 recommend!

With purpose found this place outside of town. The food, very tex mex, done perfectly. Their homemade salsas were the best. We both got a 2 item combo.
